DescriptionMetal pot with bands of decoration showing Hindu deities such as Hanuman the monkey god, Ganesha the elephant god and Nandi the bull. A band on the upper part of the body has a repetitive name of Rama. Other bands show enshrined Shivalings and the ten avatars of Vishnu. Indian subcontinent. Possibly Benares.
