DescriptionShip in a bottle. Glass bottle of clear greenish glass with a long neck and a cork stopper in one end. The bottle contains a narrow 3-masted clipper ship, with yard arms on the front, and 2 masts, a room and sprit on the mizzen. It has a black hull with a red water line. This would have been used as a votive offering for a safe voyage by sailors. Collected in London docks.
