    DescriptionRichard Cuming's Surrey Volunteers Knapsack. Flat, rectangular pouch of canvas. The front flap is painted with a red background, a circular band in the centre and a crown crest. In the centre of the circle are the letters 'GR' and within the circular band is written '1st Regt. Surrey Volunteers.'
