DescriptionKud-dose or pipe head of heavy burnt clay. Blackish-grey in colour, with scored line decoration. The stem is covered with thick mottled rhino hide and sewn with a hide thong. The Cuming catalogue attributes it to the "Denkar vicinity of the Bahr el Abiad or Western Nile, Africa".
