DescriptionFlat round pill box of paper lined card containing embossed coloured seals and wafers. It has a red and black printed duty seal pasted around the bottom and sides with the inscription; 'John Stee[dman] chemist Walworth, S[...]'. The top is covered in blue paper printed: 'Steedman's Essence of rhubarb and Ginger (in the form of pills). For gout, Indigestion, Heartburn, Headach (sic), Giddiness, Lowness of Spirits, & other Nervous Affections which arise from Cosliveness. Price 1/1, 2/9, 4/6 & 10/6 per box'.
