DescriptionAfter the demolition of numerous houses during the Second World War, pre-fabricated bungalows were erected around the borough. With fitted kitchens, bathrooms and a garden, they proved popular. Many people were unhappy when they eventually had to move into flats. A block of flats has taken the place of these prefabs, but others survive in Ivydale Road, Nunhead.On View
