DescriptionTattooing wand, Pahooa or dagger. It is formed of a straight piece of hard red wood, tapering to a point. One end is covered with dog or human hair, bound round with twine that has red and yellow feathers attached. Brought to England by Captain Cook and probably purchased from the Leverian Museum, Blackfriars, London in 1806.
