Description(Recto) Profile head of man, probably for man behind Harold grinning up at William; large hand of the dead Harold, clasping shaft (of battleaxe); left hand with outstretched fingers, (?)for soldier at far right looking away; slight outline of head and left arm of a man.(Verso) Nude study of soldier lying across foreground; his left hand (lying on shield) and (?) his right hand.
