    Description2 brown leather gloves, each embellished with a red symbol consisting of 4 triangles. Cuming believed them to belong to the "very ancient Knights Templar".

    The name 'gauntlet' can be applied to a number of different styles of glove, especially those with a wide cuff covering part of the forearm.
