DescriptionPendant charm formed of a dividing branch of red coral with a metal clasp attached at top. Slightly chipped at the ends. It would have been carried as an amulet for good health by gypsies and hawkers. Collected in East London. Currently on loan to the Royal College of Nursing for their exhibition "Who Cares: the History of Emotions in Nursing" to open in January 2020 and running until December 2021.On View
