b. 1871 in Kansas City, MO; d. 1938 in Los Angeles. Studied at Yale Universsity and the Art Institute of Chicago. American figure painter, illustrator, etcher and drypoint artist. Full member of the Chicago Society of Etchers, Brooklyn Society of Etchers, Philadelphia Paint Club and the New York Architectural League. Created under one hundred limited edition etchings and drypoints. Majority of his work dealt with depictions of the female nude or scenes from dance.
