Artist in oil, watercolour, gouache and pen. Studied art privately with Fred Lawson (1936-37), also at Leicester School of Art under Watson (1941-42), Laird School of Art under Charles W. Oliver (1947-48) and Bath Academy of Art (1953-54). Mainly a self-taught artist. Exhibited at Kensington Gallery, Redfern Gallery, Leicester School of Art, Worcester, Ripon, Blackpool, Harrogate, York, Eastbourne, Lady Lever, Port Sunlight, and Williamson Art Gallery.
