English etcher and painter of rural and hunting scenes.

Henry Wilkinson studied at Winchester College of Art and the Royal College of Art. Wilkinson was also a pupil of Robert Austin and Malcolm Osborne at the Royal Academy Engraving School. He spent periods studying in Germany, France and Italy. After WWII he was elected to the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers (RE) and was made professor of the Engraving School at the City and Guilds of London.
