Jennifer Dickson

b. 1936 in South Africa. Works with photo-etching and serography, photo-based acrylic and oil painting, black and white and cibachrome photography, video and multi-screen slide presentations, and watercolours. Came to England and studied at Goldsmith's College School of Art in London (1954-1959). Commenced work in Paris at Atelier 17 with S.W. Hayter (1960). In charge of etching at Brighton College of Art (1961). One-man shows at New Vision Centre Gallery, London (1962); County Town Gallery, Lewes (1962-64); Editions Alecto, the Print Centre, London (1964); Nita D Space Gallery, Tunbridge Wells (1964); Adler Fielding Gallery, Johannesburg (1965); South African Association of Arts Gallery, Pretoria (1965); Wolpe Gallery, Cape Town (1965); and the Zwemmer Gallery, London (1966).
