Richard Lacroix

born 1939

b. 1939 in Montreal Canada. Studied printing with Albert Dumouchel at the Institute of Graphic Arts of the Quebec Province in Montreal. Studied at the school of Fine Arts of Montreal. Taught etching at the School of Fine Arts of Montreal (1960). Granted a scholarship by the Canada Council to go and study engraving in Ateliers in Europe, especially Atelier 17 under S.W. Hayter (1961). One-man shows at Galerie L'Art Francais, Montreal (1961); Canada House, Paris (1962 & 63); Dorothy Cameron Gallery, Toronto (1963); Galerie Agnes Lefort, Montreal (1963).
