Ian Colverson

Printmaker Ian Colverson graduated from the Slade School of Fine Art in London in 1962, and traveled to Rome and Paris on scholarships. He then taught at the Univeristy of Los Angeles, where he would return several times thoughout his career, before returning to England. He exhibited in London and Lisbon, participating in the Print Biennale at Bradford College. In 1969, he took up a position as founding director of the printmaking department (known as the Department of Two Dimensional Studies) at Bradford, a position he held until his retirement in 2005. He continues to work and exhibit in the UK.
