    DescriptionLady's slipper. The main body of the shoe is made of leather, which is brittle, hardened and misshapen. There is loose stitching on the edges of the shoe helping to hold the sole and underside together. The thread is dirty and breaking in certain areas. They are decorated with woven plaits and spangles which show traces of gilding.
