DescriptionMichael Faraday's family bible with inscription of births and deaths.

It is worn, with a leather binding and parchment spine. Inscribed 'James Faraday 1799' on the inner binding. The cover is stamped 'The Gift of Ralph Snow Esq.' Immediately after the title page for the New Testament is an inscription of the births and deaths of the Faraday family, including Michael Faraday September 22nd 1791.
