    DescriptionPersian Kalmdan or box for writing instruments. It is long and oblong shape with rounded ends. The cover pulls off to allow access to the case and it contains an ink well of stamped brass. There is painted decoration on the lid of a Persian lady in a landscape, with floral decoration around the body of the box. Black, red, yellow, green and brown in colour.
