DescriptionWaist wrap made from barkcloth. It is decorated with a shield design, and a deep fringe at one end. The pattern is typical of Fiji but it is probably from Samoa. The style of the design is late 19th to early 20th century. This piece of barkcloth was brought back to England by one of Captain Wilson decendants, probably in the early 20th century. On View
