    DescriptionTop of a spoon, carved in the form of an ostrich. Light brown, with the body burnt a deep brown colour. Bought by Richard Cuming from the sale of the South African Association collection in 1837. The lower part of the spoon was destroyed. Bechuana (Botswana) African subcontinent.
