    DescriptionPiece of Belemnite (the fossil bone of a cuttlefish). It is cylindrical with a pointed end, and metalic in appearance. It was regarded as a thunderbolt , and used as a charm against lightning. Collected in South London. It may be associated with Edward Lovett but this is not recorded in accession information.
