DescriptionYellow and green glass snuff bottle. It has a green stopper in form of flower or bud.Snuff bottles were used in China during the Qing Dynasty to hold powdered tobacco. Although the smoking of tobacco was illegal, snuff was allowed as it was thouight to cure minor illnesses such as colds and headaches.
