DescriptionBowl made of a calabash gourd. It has been blackened on the inside and decorated with mineral pigments. The outside of the gourd is red. The decoration would have been sealed with a plant sap. Decoration includes a series of bands with festoons around the rim on the inside. The design in the basin consists of a fancy fruit with leaves and flowers, surrounded with blue dots circled with tiny yellow dots.
