    DescriptionWide men's shoes of goat-leather or 'Red Morocco'. They narrow to a toe point known as an 'Arab Marakeeb'. Originally owned by Mohammed Safir.

    These comfortable looking slippers are made of Red Morocco, a type of leather that was popular throughout Europe, Africa and Asia for the manufacture of footwear. It is made of goat skin, tanned and dyed with sumac and cochineal. Soft and hardwearing, this leather is also frequently used for binding books.
