Selected for Crafts Advisory Committee Index and given a bursary for work with printed books

She started her artistic life as a printmaker and then in 1974 published her first Livre d’Artiste. APHRODITE was a portfolio with etchings on steel and facing poems set by Circle Press. During the next 10 years she published five more books: AESOP’S FABLES, THE ROMAUNT OF THE ROSE, THOMAS TRAHERNE, THE GIRL IN THE APPLE & KROPOTKIN ESCAPES under the imprint of The World’s End Press. They were illustrated with etchings and hand coloured wood blocks, and printed entirely in the studio. They were widely collected.

In the eighties she began to paint, and also to make many small constructions of wood metal and gesso illustrating her private world.
