DescriptionPerforated coin, to be worn around the neck and said to bring good fortune or wealth to the wearer. It depicts George III on the obverse, and Britannia on the reverse. The hole is situated near Britannia's head (and under George's bust), so it was probably worn to show Britannia rather than George. It has a smooth, worn surface. Collected in South London.
