DescriptionFinger ring for squirting scent. This rather novel item consists of a brass ring and a grey rubber diffuser. The rubber has hardened as early materials like this did not have the preservatives and plasticisers we now find in "rubbery" substances to keep them flexible. There is a small hole in the ring for the perfume to be sprayed out. Perfume sprays have been in use for hundreds of years and are often very decorative. This item is not the most attractive and possibly was a cheap novelty or perhaps even a joke or trick ring.On View
