Description"Skull of a baby mammoth" according to labeling but is actually a modern era juvenile Indian elephant and not prehistoric. It was apparently found near the Brandon housing estate just off Walworth Road in London. As the Surrey Zoological Gardens (1831 to 1872) were not far away it is suggested this animal may have come from there, died and was buried either in or just outside the original grounds.
