    DescriptionCommemorative silver trowel with a bone handle. Engraved with the Camberwell coat of arms and motto (All's Well) as well as flowers and a detailed border. Inscribed: 'Borough of Camberwell, Wells Street, Passmore Edwards Public Library. This trowel was presented to J. Passmore Edwards. Esq. The donor of above building who laid the foundation stone of same on the 25th July 1901. Matthew Wallace Esq. J. P. Mayor. C. William Tagg. Town Clerk'. Kept with the original oval shaped box lined with pink silk and red velvet.
