DescriptionScoop made of gourd split in half with the neck forming a handle. Orange-brown in colour.Calabash gourds are known to have been present and used in African countries since antiquity. They can be very valued personal possessions, or simply for domestic use, as is probably the case with this scoop. Domestically they can also be used as storage containers, food wares, washing implements, cosmetic supply containers, snuff boxes, and receptacles for medicine and healing substances.
