DescriptionThis object is identified as coming from the Leverian museum and from the "North West Coast" but of what country it is not yet confirmed.Scoop made of horn with markings in black around the rim consisting of: diagonal lines, dots, and triangles. These scoops or ladles usually have an ornate handle decorated with small figures of birds or animals. This one's has been cut off, probably for sale to collectors as a separate object.
