DescriptionLeft half of a bronze head ornament for a statue. The remaining ostrich plume represents half of the atef crown worn by Osiris. Pegs on the base and side of the object would have fitted into the top of the statue other half of the crown. There would have been a matching plume on the right and possibly a sun disk or the white crown of Upper Egypt in the centre.
