DescriptionDagger and sheath. The blade is made of watered steel and the hilt is ivory with a knob in the centre. The scabbard is made of velvet covered wood, originally a deep red colour. This type of dagger with a curved blade is called a Jambiya. The hilt was often carved of horn and it had a double sided blade.Turkey.
