DescriptionMalay blade. The blade is made of steel and the hilt is made of brown wood with darker veins. The handle is carved in the form of an unopened flower bud. The scabbard is made of 2 separable pieces of brown wood (Krecs), resembling a hatchet.This dagger is known as a "kris", which are characterised by their distinctive wavy blade. These daggers serve both ceremonial and practical purposes and were often thought to possess magical powers.
