DescriptionSquare bag or pouch of skin. The top front of the bag has a deep band of appliqué red leather trimmed with bands of very fine white quills; these overlay inserts of black and white fur, probably polar bear hairs. The surface of the bag is covered with a light coating of red mineral pigment and dusted with fine mica particles. The bag is fastened by a thin, braided strap and a single white glass bead. There is a flap at the top, evidently inserted into the opening to close.
