DescriptionCream-coloured ivory comb. It consists of a square panel decorated with a carved female figure seated in the lotus position, flanked by two bird-like creatures. There are fine teeth on the top and the bottom. This comb would have been worn by a member of the aristocracy in Sri Lanka. It has been intricately carved by skilled craftsmen.On View
