DescriptionBlue and white base of a sacramental flagon. Made of iridescent Gubbio ware; it has a circular base, circular bowl, narrowed neck, and remains of a handle. There is a clear glaze over a blue pattern on a white ground. The pattern consists of vertical lines, a row of crosses, and a large cross in a circle with lettering 'vis'. Found in the Burial ground of All Hallows the Less, Upper Thames St. 1865.On View
