    DescriptionPewter medicine spoon. It has an elongated bowl with hinged cover, a hole at the tip, and tubular handle and flange. The medicine would be poured through the tube into the bowl. It has been impressed with the word 'Warranted'. Known as a Gibson spoon after its inventor Charles Gibson in 1827.
