DescriptionZulu snuff-bottle or container of a small reddish-brown double lobed gourd. The body of the gourd is decorated with a scorched chequered pattern of black squares, alternating with natural coloured ones. There is a small hole at the top where a stopper would have been. The lobes are of a similar size with the top one more elongated than the base. African subcontinent.
