DescriptionSmall Aipa or fish hook. The shank is formed of a plate of pearl shell, and a curved turtle-shell hook is attached to the shank with fibre string. A hackle of tiny red glass beads is also threaded on the fibre.Polynesia, possibly Friendly Islands.
