DescriptionMeduim fish hook of rough pearl shell, pointed at both ends, the end perforated with round holes to admit the line. The hook is made of the same pearl shell as the shaft, plainly butted on the lower end of the shaft and neatly attached to it by lashings of fine twisted fibres.Maori.
