DescriptionStrip of terracotta moulding with egg-and-dart ornament. It is from the Baths of Caracalla, Rome. The baths were erected 212-217 AD and were Rome's second largest baths. This massive complex not only held various bathing rooms but also a library and shops. The baths survive today, although now as ruins.On View
