DescriptionLarge fish hook made of a bent piece of wood, for catching halibut. The wood element curves back onto itself with a section of the tapering end projecting out from the shaft. A sharp, straight barb of bone is lashed onto the shaft with flat bark on the inside of the loop.Nootka Sound.
