    DescriptionSmall earthenware vessel with a round base, short neck and rim. It has orange and grey colouration with a powdery surface. From a Huastec tomb. Huastec was an ancient civilisation in Mexico and the Huastec language survives today. The Huastecs were conquered by the Spanish in the early 16th century and many sold as slaves to the Caribbean.
