DescriptionSt Bridget's Bough made from willow sticks. Made on the 31st of January for St Brigit's day on the 1st February. It would have been hung on a kitchen wall. Traditionally the crosses are made from rushes.

St Brigit is the Christianised form of Brigid, one of the most widely worshiped goddesses in Iron Age Britain. Brigit was goddess of smithing, creativity, healing, wisdom, fertility and childbirth.
