DescriptionHeart-shaped charm of tin, decorated with a geometric design and stamped with a 4-leaf clover on the front.Heart charms were worn commonly in East London to preserve good health or occasionally as love charms. This specimen was obtained from hawkers in Whitechapel at the price of one penny.
