DescriptionPatterned tin heart-shaped charm, set with blue and white glass. The blue glass forms a heart in the centre of the charm with a white faux diamond on it. Heart charms were worn commonly in East London to preserve good health or occasionally as love charms. This specimen was obtained from hawkers in Whitechapel at the price of one penny.
